International Image Consultants Day is celebrated yearly on November 23 and was first initiated in 2012 by the Association of Image Consultants International members Manolo Trujillo and Hildeberto Martinez, who both hail from Mexico where many universities offer degrees in the image field.
International Image Consultants Day globally recognizes the wide range of services provided by image professionals who help individuals and businesses through practical solutions that result in confident visual impact, behavior, communication, digital presence, and etiquette.
In celebration of the global event, the AICI Philippine Chapter and the AICI Global Sustainability Committee held the ??????? & ?????????????? Forum featuring guest speakers Bruce Winton, Green Council President and Multi-property Vice President of Marriott International, and Susy Bello-Knoll, Fashion Lawyer and AICI Global Sustainability Head.
The forum focused on:
1) What AICI Global Sustainability Committee has achieved in the past year and the direction moving forward.
2) Learning about corporate sustainability efforts in the hotel/hospitality industry.
3) How fashion can be sustainable as discussed with 2 sustainability champions Len Cabili and Al Valenciano, who shared their thoughts and experience of working with communities, promoting slow fashion, and preserving heritage, culture and tradition.
